Let's plan a picnic sometime this summer.

Seems a few want to have a picnic this summer. Let's get some ideas rolling around on the forums about where to have it, what to eat, etc. Sandy Lake Park is being considered.

In the meantime, in lieu of no other viable suggestions, we'll be having the June meetup at CPK as usual.

ALSO.... the Screen Capture Contest has been stopped... feel free to post them but there will be no more contest.

I think we should do a picnic thing in June. It's summer time and we might as well!! Sandy Lake park is good enough so why don't we just do that? Do they have grills and stuff there? I think that would be a fun thing to do. Then the next month we can do D&B and play some Time Crisis. *flex*

Sorry I won't be able to make this one... but judging from the current turnout I think CPK will do for a while. I think the location is perfect for this geographically diverse group.

I'm only aware of one person's desire for a different venue. We are always open to suggestions. Jeff and I have checked out the Main Event in Grapevine, and in our opinion it is not an option. Dave and Busters might be an option or going back to Game Works, however it was pretty loud and hard to hear when we met there in the past. Any other thoughts?

I've over heard many people's desire for a different location then CPK. What about something like Dave and Busters or Main Event? That's assuming the BBQ plans don't come together.
